I got into SEO accidentally. I was a senior graphic designer at an agency around 2018 when clients started asking for search optimization and nobody on staff knew how to do it. So I figured it out. Read everything, tested everything, and eventually made the full transition.
In 2020 I left. The agency model bothered me more the longer I was in it. I knew what clients were paying and I knew what the people doing the work were making, and the gap was hard to ignore. I went out on my own, started making TikTok videos about SEO during the pandemic, and ended up with more small business owners wanting to hire me than I expected.

I don't have a team or a staff roster. That's intentional. When you email me, I read it. When the work goes out, I did it. There's no account manager who disappears after three months, no junior staffer running your strategy while someone else takes the credit. Just me, which means you get someone who actually knows your business.
I live in South Carolina with my wife, two kids, and our dog. Lifelong music nerd, always have headphones in, play a little guitar. There's usually a Diet Coke nearby. I've got a face for SEO.
